Stephen Ministry - A program of our parish that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances. Stephen ministry is a confidential ministry. We are always looking for those interested in becoming Stephen Ministers and appreciate calls making us aware of those in need of a trained, Stephen Minister.
Faith & Illness Group - This group consists of ministers, nurses and people who are suffering from illness or have a loved one who is ill. All are welcome. This group meets the 2nd Monday of each month, from 7-8 pm in St. Michael's Chapel (north entrance of the church).
Jail Ministry - We have a men's Jail Ministry program. This
group is always looking for new volunteers. Please contact Tony Salamone @
331-6975.
The Women's Jail Ministry program is being re-established at this time.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - Knit or crocheted shawls are made by parishioners who also pray for the recipient. Shawls are given to those who are sick or recovering from surgery/illness.
Legion of Mary - Members bring Communion to the local nursing homes. They are also present and assist when we have mass at a nursing home.
Prayer Network - The Parish Center receives prayer requests and spreads them through phone & email.
Marian Cenacle - Men & women gather for a "Holy Hour" in prayer and reflection. This group will lead in the recitation of the rosary, meditations and reflections. Saturdays, 11 am-Noon in the Chapel
Rosary Altar Society - A group of women meet throughout the year to build fellowship among women of the parish and to support our church in many ways. The Society gives a scholarship to an 8th grader of St. Michael School and coordinates social functions such as those following 1st Communion, Confirmation and other parish events.
Christmas Bazaar - every two years, held at St. Michael School...next Bazaar will be held on December 6, 2008. Crafts are being made now for that Bazaar...mark your calendar NOW!!
Family Festival - Every June, in conjunction with NewarkFest - this year festival
will be

School Fundraising Auction - Last Saturday of April, held at the School.
